Liverpool, Chelsea, Man Utd or Arsenal - 75 points to win the title?

If so, that would equal the lowest ever points total in Premership history. That was back in 1997 and in the last few years we have been accustomed to seeing the winning side gain around 90 points. The "big four" have all struggled this season and I can see this continuing. So what do you think - will 75 points be enough?

Instinctively I think it will take a bit more than 75 points to win the title, SKG. I reckon that in the new year one or two teams will get their act together and go on a sustained run of good results. Surely it won't be the case that all of the top teams keep dropping points to the extent thay they have done so far.

By the way SKG, I reckon this is the shortest post ever on EFT! :)

Where do people get these low points totals from.

If liverpool win their next game and then the get the same points for second half of the season, that will be 82 points

Take in account that most teams score more point second half of the season and you expect it to be more.

I said 90 points at the beginning of the season and I still stand by that

With good timing, Arsene Wenger was asked this question yesterday (you weren't at the press conference were you SKG?!) and his answer was this:

"I think it will be a lower total than in recent years. The teams who are in front at the moment have already dropped points at home. I think it will be between 78 and 85 points.

"At the moment the race is still very tight because it looks for me for the first time in six or seven years that the number of points for the winner of this league will be much lower than usual because everybody drops points against everybody.
