EFT Scorecast Weekend 14 (final week!)

Welcome again to the weekly feature on EFT where the team here put their prediction accuracy skills to the test by trying to forecast the scores of the weekend round of Premier League matches.

3 points is awarded for a correct score (e.g. 3-1). 1 point is awarded for a correct result (correct positive result or a draw).

The updated Scorecast points table is in the EFT sidebar. Abdul enters the last weekend with a firm lead in the Scorecast race and the questions is whether any of the rest of the EFT team can have an amazing weekend of predictions to make up the gap? We'll know by this evening!

Congratulations Abdul - you have consistently just been a slight level above the rest in your predictions. We tried to catch you up but you stayed solid to the finish!

You are a worthy first ever EFT Scorecast champion!

(But next season it will be over 38 weeks!Lol)

Well done, Abdul, strong to the end. Was a massive feat in front of me to catch you up, would have virtually taken all correct results and about 6 correct scores - if I had that sort of predictability I would be a phenomenon! A financially well-secured one at that!

Man Utd has pipped Liverpool once again by 4pts!

Feels great to win this inaugural EFT prize, especially as I missed a few weeks with my predictions! Unlucky Redsman.

A big thank you to T for his great administrative work in making this scorecast competititon come alive. I think that that must have distracted him when making his own predictions!

"Man Utd has pipped Liverpool once again by 4pts!"

hahahahaha talking of which, here's some songs for the Manc faithfuls

Que sera, sera,
Whatever will be, will be,
They blew it in Italy,
Que sera, sera

There is a team called Man Utd,
Whose fans went to Rome all delighted,
But the team came to Italy,
Got done by Eto'o and Messi,
And their 'loyal' fans are all divided!

[to the Torres' chant]
There is a team from Manchester,
Oh yeah, oh yeah,
They thought they'd win at a canter
Oh yes, oh yes,
But come the night they couldn't play
And so the trophy slipped well away,
And now they're no more champions of the world!

!Ole!
